How did it get to be the end of October already? I’m taking a quick break before I get back to work, making videos for the Patreon. It’s a real Venus-y weekend. We got a Venus Chiron and a Venus Jupiter so my mind is filled with Venus thoughts, and yours may be too.

Are your values changing? Are they the same? 

Today I laughed so hard. Everything seemed funny to me, more than ever before. I don’t want to say this is the Way of the Crone but maybe it is. Laughing like the Buddha. I’ll let you know.

Venus Chiron can be painful but healing. Venus Jupiter can be expansive but excessive. I’ve been doing astrology for SO long now. Today a skeptic was boring me with their skepticism. I wasn’t in the mood to debate or show off. I had other priorities. Preferences.

The rain was heavy. It was coming down in sheets. What’s the message of this weekend Venus stuff though? Venus is in Libra and she’s being jostled. She might lose her balance a bit. She might not feel so pretty or full of grace. She might be annoyed. She might get angry. Uh oh. Or she might laugh and laugh and laugh, which feels more Jupiter than Libra elegance.

I’ll tell you this, from my Crone perch: let those heavenly bodies — Chiron and Jupiter — have their way with her and with you. Let yourself fall under their sway. Why not? As if we can stop Chiron from opening our wounds. As if we can stop Jupiter from interrupting, messing up that refined Libra hairdo we have affixed to our heads.

Venus doesn’t get what she thinks she wants this weekend. She gets something else and possibly far more valuable.
