Mercury Retrograding + Crone Time + Stopping Time

I was trying to work on my YouTube channel. Got myself a gimbal and a mic and was having technical difficulties (hello Mercury retrograde) and was washing the dishes when I thought to myself: I’m not a YouTuber. I’m a writer. I’m a writer who realized she was pretty intuitive/psychic after falling in love with astrology and doing chart readings and then tarot readings for people. I’m just a writer. I can try to make YouTube videos, whether it’s interviews with other people or live streaming a walk in the park but it’s just not me.

I have a new book coming out in June. I am determined to send out my memoir to some more places after over a hundred rejections. And I find myself wishing: I wish! I wish! I wish I were… whatever it is the world today values. Pluto in Aquarius values the crowd. Uranus in Gemini, an even newer transit, is hooked on data, the more information the better. Going for a walk and chatting with whoever shows up IS something I can do… if the devices will cooperate.

And then there’s the psychoanalytic training, another “old school” or “old world” profession. Where I go to school they don’t even do Zoom sessions! And yet I feel determined to at least create a small presence with my channel. It was so nice to walk and talk today! I do have three planets in the Eleventh House after all, which is social. I have those planets in Cancer. We like silence in the crowd of the Eleventh.

The connection glitched while I was walking in the park. Isn’t that Uranus in Gemini? We are in the time of AIR and by that I mean… it’s not intimacy we’re surfing, it’s intellect. Ideas.

If only there were a way to stop time. I’m thinking of my cousin Sue and my friend Jim — I dedicated my book to them both — who would both say to me how they’ll always be older (when I complained about being old). Now they’re both gone. I hate having dead people to dedicate books to although I’m happy I completed another book, which is about Tarot and Freud and going back to school at mid-life. It is a Tarot book through and through. It will help you connect to your cards better. Hey, maybe connection, glitchy or not, never goes out of style. What changes is how we do it.

Alright. That’s all for now xo
