Tarot Time In The Classroom + Busy Busy Mind! (The Stars This Weekend)

"mercury trine uranus"
So we are in Week Three of the Saturn in Capricorn class
and I had promised folks there would be a Tarot piece to the class – in particular Tarot structure, talking about layouts and spreads and design: where cards should go and then also what each card means, which questions are being asked.

Have you ever created a Tarot spread?

I love this stuff, but I don’t think about it when I am actually doing Tarot readings. I am more free-form then. Got a question? I seek to answer it without too many structural bells and whistles. I do take time however to find the best wording for your question and sometimes we go specific and sometimes we go more broad.

Now THIS WEEKEND I think is an excellent time for Tarot and an excellent time for Tarot spread creation!

Why do I say this?

Mercury is square Uranus AND sextile Chiron.

In plain English: your creativity is off the charts this weekend (Mercury square Uranus guarantees this) but it’s in service of something *higher* — like your HEALING.

Chiron is always about our “sickness” and our wellness and our healing and our wound and Mercury is your mind and perception and square Uranus is faster than the speed of light BRILLIANCE.

You could come up with something amazing so I hope you have a creative project to explore or a Tarot spread to create or… who knows!

Monday Star: Winter Solstice, Yule, Sun Enters Capricorn

News and commercials:
I am doing 1:1 teaching again after a hiatus and focus on groups/classes.
$340 gets you 6 hours of time with me – learning Tarot or a Tarot/Astrology combination.
Skype or Phone.

Example, I am working with a gal tomorrow who wasn’t able to take my most recent Tarot class and I let her know that this was available! Over the weeks, we’ll be talking about the numbers, the elements, layouts, intuition, and more.

I’ve also started my January special EARLY. I am planning on moving late winter, early spring and thus this is my own personal fundraiser. All hour long readings are $65.

Monday is the Winter Solstice (where I live!).

My calendar is friendly. It lists these in this order:
Winter Solstice. Yule. Sun Enters Capricorn.

The Sun entering Capricorn means your Capricorn House gets LIT UP.
What does this mean for you? You tell me :) SUN WILL SHINE THERE. For me, the Sun is not malefic. It is LIGHT.

It’s my FIFTH – which is a fun house, creative, romantic. And yet for me it’s ruled by Serious Saturn.

Taurus Moon this day. Taurus energy is associated with Venus (she who waits) and the 2nd House (“moveable possessions”). It is a materialistic sign, concerned with the things of this world, the MATERIAL of this world. Sure thing a Taurus can be quite spiritual as well — there’s no contradiction there — but I’ve witnessed Taurus with a knowledge of and concern with the BEST of the material world. Even if they can’t afford it they know what it is when when they touch it (see it, taste it, smell it). Taurus rather have one amazing high quality pair of shoes than three cheap ones.

Moon sextile Neptune – psychic
Moon inconjunct Saturn – contradictory
Moon trine Pluto – deep
Moon sextile Chiron – soothing
Moon trine Mercury – head and heart agree

Mercury sextile Chiron – healing words

A harmonious day for the most part. The Moon Saturn inconjunct is work calling when you rather rest but it is the shortest day of the year so… go home early. Wait for the light of the Sun entering Capricorn or get your Saturnalia on ;)

Will you do special for the Solstice?
xx

Mercury Sextile Chiron: Talk About The Pain

A transit I neglected to mention in this morning’s blog post:

Mercury in Capricorn sextile Chiron in Pisces.

It’s worth mentioning (even though this transit has passed) because Chiron needs all the help he can get ;)

And I’m not sure I can educate you anything special this morning on the nature of Chiron except that you should remember both sides.

An example: Chiron is edging closer to my 7th House cusp and some interpretations that I read will emphasize the hurt Chiron. Others will emphasize the healing Chiron. Will there be wisdom? Will there be partnership? That’s what I want to know. It probably will be both.

Where we have Chiron, natal and by transit, is where we feel most fragile, vulnerable, noli me tangere. So when a sextile comes along? There’s an opportunity.

On a related note: a gal on the message board is sick and tired of Pluto through her 4th House. I get that. I’m at the END (Baruch Hashem) of this transit. It can be total wipe-out of family, home, or a bring-you-to-your-knees nauseating psychological restructuring. Or both.

You don’t get to choose. That’s Pluto. But it depends, also, on your natal chart and what God (Spirit/Source/Life) has in store for you.  Pluto promises change, yes, but there’s a range to the change!

So we remember both sides. Death and resurrection. We come back to life with new parts. How many times, so many times, with my natal 1st House Pluto had they counted me out. Had I counted me out. Aliza will never...

Like the Phoenix (Pluto/Scorpio symbolism), we rise. But that part is the choice. You have to agree to it. Heh. Punch down the dough, right? But it puffs back up ;)

Mercury sextile Chiron is an opportunity to think about your pain. Talk about your pain. Sometimes that’s enough.

I’ve got plans. Hello Sun in Capricorn! New class in February and maybe a new private message board. Click here for info and email me if interested.
