The Stars Tomorrow: Good For Business

I was making my dinner, listening to a Pandora station on my big headphones and The Who’s Baba O’Riley came on. A song I love from an album I love. I was 14 again instead of 42, my last summer of being 42 in the kitchen in Brooklyn. That music, back then, meant more to me than anything.

And then I told this story to a Sagittarius friend who also loves this song and what was funny was that we were both excited about different parts of the song. My excitement was the emotion. His was the fast part at the end and the memory of driving.

Why was I born? I shared a little Facebook thingie twice (a Buddhist page), reminding us to ask ourselves this question, morning, noon, and night. Why were you born?

Here’s another question for you: do you throw away the gifts of former lovers or former friends?

The Moon’s been in Virgo today and I did a surprising amount of de-cluttering. Even with vacuuming (which this place needs), it feels lighter. And then I found the gift. A small inexpensive gift he gave me. And then two little things I got for him and never sent.

A good topic for the Moon in Libra, eh? Relationship! The Moon enters Libra at 9:19 pm, Big City time.

Tomorrow, June 17th: the Moon in Libra will do what she usually does these days: squares Pluto, opposes Uranus. At first glance, cooperation seems iffy at best, grueling at worst BUT this pretty Moon will also trine Mars in Gemini, a good aspect. And Mars will sextile Uranus. Another good aspect.

My advice: shake the hand. Make the deal. Smile. You know you want it.

The Stars Today And The Secret To 2013

The Moon is in look-at-me Leo as I write this.

The Sun (who you are) is conjunct Pluto (death) in Capricorn. Venus (social life) and Mercury (more social life) in Sagittarius with Mercury farther along in the sign.

Mars (the hunt) newly in air sign (hunts with the mind) Aquarius, heading to sextile (feels good) Uranus (surprise!) in Aries.

Saturn (what you fear) in Scorpio (sex) is sextiling the Sun Pluto conjunction. Neptune, Chiron, and the North Node in water signs. Jupiter still retrograde in Gemini but goes direct end of January.

My diagnosis so far: On the one hand you want to assert: ME! And will do anything to stay on top of… whatever you feel you are at risk of losing. It’s heavy energy, right? Leo and Capricorn are at odds despite both having a certain um large and in charge style. And yet both fire and earth are supported in the sky right  now.

My suggestion: detach from the heavyosity, take a break from that fated feeling: relax, enjoy these last days before our next turning point, the entry into 2013. Portal time! Can you take the day off? It’s Sunday morning in the Big City :)

Now, Sun Pluto supporting Saturn and vice versa says: you can build/rebuild a strong foundation i.e. build/rebuild YOU in 2013. Whatever you’ve lost.

The suggestion is: balance. Too much Saturn and you feel you’re unworthy. Too much Pluto and you’re taking over due to paranoia. The sextile between Sun Pluto and Saturn shows an opportunity for harmony, healing, balance between what you are meant to do here (and who you are meant to be with) vs. your fear of it happening (or not).

In the private room, we are talking about various Pluto transits. Pluto on the Sun. Pluto on Saturn. Pluto square Saturn. Chains dragging along the floor is how I feel about Saturn and Pluto together. Plastic surgery is another image that came to mind. Soul surgery. 2012 saw young Libras out of their minds and hearts with Saturn on so many of their Plutos. Now they’ve come out the other side. Libra was also the empty leg in the tsquare from the recent Full Moon and the empty leg in the tsquare in late July 2013.

So what you do in 2013 is take the Libra key and stick it :) turn the knob, open the door. Find the Libra house in your chart. Make yourself at home there, put your loving care there.

See, we get more chances to do Libra right. I know Saturn is in Scorpio now but if you failed Libra school while Saturn was in Libra, more chances are coming.

Your thoughts?

P.S. Should be up and running again tomorrow, folks who I had to postpone this past week….

The Stars Today: Fins 4 U

I’ve been under the weather with a stomach flu and hoping I’m on the mend. Not sure yet if I’ll return to my Readings later today or tomorrow… we shall see.

The weather turned snowy dampy sleety right around the time my sick kicked in. I kept having images of trudging through the dark cold although I was inside, occasionally on-line when I got tired of sleeping, listening to Gangaji videos from youtube and having the occasional Facebook conversation.

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and a big thank you to all my readers, clients, friends. I’m blessed. So many amazing special people have sought me out this year :) I think I’m growing in what I do. It’s changing a little. I’m beginning to live more in my Pisces North Node

Some Stars Today: this morning’s Full Moon was intense, tense for me. I was awake actually after sleeping many solid hours. Then at sunrise I headed out to the bodega around the corner, putting my day-clothes on over my pajamas :) Needed cat food, cat litter, and I sip coca-cola when my stomach’s down (only my bodega had it caffeine free). I open up the cap a bit and let it get flat.

A few hours later there was a moment, or two, where I could have made the wrong move. Wrong move meaning I avoided what could have been a nasty confrontation (not at the bodega but elsewhere). Dear Reader, I held my tongue and if i had had the energy to express what I was feeling, thinking? I would have regretted it.

I had forgotten about the Full Moon but took my own advice anyway: I had been advising people grace under pressure, to be Libra (the “empty leg” of the Full Moon in Cancer wicked tsquare) no matter what was coming at you.

Otherwise? Buck up says this sky. Sun in Capricorn has no time for whiners ;) not even when they have the flu. Mars, too, in Aquarius is no softie. Not that Mars is ever a softie but Aquarius is sleek and rigid, like the fins on a classic car. Handsome too usually. He’s applying in sextile to Uranus (hey there mutual reception!) so things are looking up in whatever house you find Mars in now. Mars Uranus in harsh aspect is accident prone but a sextile is a bright idea, a zap jolt, insight, electric.

Mercury and Venus are playful in Sagittarius so that’s your “release point.” Not in the emotional Moon as she waddles her way through the rest of Cancer but in Jupiter, Sag’s ruler, which, like Neptune, wants you to dream, imagine, seek, wander even if only in the mind. That’s what I plan on doing until I get back to work.

xo big love xo

So I’m delayed a couple days due to being sick but am scheduling Readings for January so non-crisis only at this time :) PayPal reserves your spot, like always. Scroll down to the end of this post for what’s on offer in January.
