Do you feel like you’re slipping this summer? Uncertain of who you are? Identity shift? Identity crisis? Fear? No solid ground? I feel this Mercury retrograde, although compatible with the other transiting planets in fire and air, has been, in truth, a difficult one. A less happy Lion than usual.
I feel like once the Sun enters Virgo, late this month, the details will come back to you. You’ll remember who you are and why you’re here. Your purpose. Your service. That is my prayer for all of us.
The Sun is what you express, what you need to express, and it tends to come out automatically and how it comes out depends on the aspects to it.
For example. I have my Sun in Cancer. I will nurture others. I didn’t even realize I did it until it was pointed out to me. It’s just who I am. Natural.

Have a little fun while looking at your Sun. Widen the orbs you may usually use. Are there aspects which fit you but you’ve never included them. The only rules are the ones you follow.

For most of my life, I’ve been in a state of constant personality crisis. I blame all of the crap in my first house. It’s been unpleasant this summer, but really, it’s the same shit, different day.
My Sun is in Pisces, but I’ve never really felt like one. I don’t have the Neptunian urge to dissolve and merge. I don’t want to be one with the universe. I’m not especially creative or artistic. I’m empathetic only in an abstract sense: I can feel what other people feel, but I don’t really connect to it. With a wide orb, my Sun aspects everything except my Venus. The aspect I feel the most is my Sun square Uranus; I’ve read that those with this placement are ‘weird, irritating, and disruptive’. Those words have all been used to describe me, but- true to contrary Uranus, which also rules my Mercury- I don’t necessarily see that as a bad thing.
I call Sun square Uranus the rebel without a cause aspect. It’s energy which could be directed.
I feel like I can make a valuable contribution to something- I just don’t know what that ‘something’ is. Not surprisingly considering the strong Pluto presence in my chart, I want to be passionate about something, but so far, I haven’t found it.
Sun trine Jupiter. Believe it or not, I identify with the aspect. There’s also Asc sextile Uranus. And then there’s moon square Venus, moon inconjunct Uranus, moon square Neptune and moon sextile Saturn. Makes sense to me 😉
I believe it. It’s a guardian angel aspect.
