We keep trying oh how we keep trying even when all hope seems lost but I refuse to accept the all hope no hope.
Pema Chodron, who I love, talks about hope causing suffering. Clinging, attachment, to whatever the IT is. Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here but I am embracing hope for Sagittarius Season. Otherwise I’ll die.
Venus is edging past Pluto in Capricorn at the edge of my 4th House so I’m reading it for both 4th and 5th and love feels like death as a friend and I were saying today, by text, to each other, in mutual love and death disaster.
BUT (there’s always a but…) you know what? It’s the combination of Sagittarius and Capricorn in the sky that I am trying to embody: hope + commitment. I admit I kind of suck at it but I am trying.
Let me tell you a thing or two about my chart. Actually, let me tell you a thing or two about my Venus. My Venus is busy. But she’s OUTER PLANET busy. She’s talking to Jupiter nicely okay just fine but Saturn is scowling at her and Neptune is confusing her and she’s locked up in the 12th House and…
Live your chart. That is all. I’ve decided to live my chart. That’s what I mean about commitment. I am going to DO Venus 12. I am going to DO Venus Neptune. And I am going to DO Venus Saturn.
And it can go either way. You can work the high side of your chart or the low side or in between but at least be you. Venus in the 12th is not Venus in the 5th or Venus in the 6th or Venus in the 7th... You can’t give Venus 7th advice to Venus 12th (well, there could be mitigating factors but I am painting with broad strokes here…)
So be mindful. When you give advice. To your friends. To your clients. Know who you are speaking to. And I am saying this to myself too. That the next time I have a chart to look at, I want to do as right as I can by them. (Yes yes I know, I’m hard on myself – Virgo Moon and all 🙂 )
Live your chart. First you have to learn your chart. But then you have to live it. And even if you can’t do the high side of your aspects straight away, you can get it right.
Mercury Retrograde is conjunct the Sun right now in Sagittarius so be prepared to do and undo wherever that nice little fire shows up in your life. Come December and January, things are gonna MOVE.
And here’s a thought: Mars and Venus are trining in Virgo and Capricorn, so I am wondering for those of you with LUV problems, if this trine is making it better or worse. Interesting to think about since trines are beneficial but I think THIS trine is only increasing the desire for the fire and fire brings light and warmth but also burns and destroys.
Oh why can’t it be simple?Â
😉
Rarely is it simple in MoonPlutoLand. But let me summarize today’s thoughts:
1. learn your chart
2. live your chart
3. combine hope + commitment to honor Sagittarius and Capricorn
4. breahe
5. breathe
6. breathe
And the Moon is in Pisces. Thoughts?Â

Everything feels so weird; I was feeling mostly nice and grounded before this past week, but it’s gone. A few weeks ago, I got my sleep schedule upset – one that I’d finally managed to institute, and keep going for three weeks straight.
I’m trying to live my Sun in Aries, and my Moon conjunct Venus. I’m all too aware of what I have to lose, and have given up on wanting anything else (or, am trying to), because it never seems to work out, and I’m afraid that if it does work out, someone I love dearly, will be taken from me. I knew this year I was either going to sink or swim, but I’m not really doing either one right now (trying to resist sinking, but too worn out to swim).
Lots of pain, I’m going through a similar situation as you, but in the reverse. I am an aries w/a good amount of Sagi (moon)/Pisces/Capricorn and totally in love with a Pisces with a good amount of Scorpio (moon)/Sagi/cancer/touch of aries….
My heart is beaten….so who knows what the outcome of life will be or if that man even cared for me….
awww Kristy I wish you good speedy healing xoxo
One Q, because as a still-learning astro fiend, I just realized the houses shift a little when you move locations. I got over-zealous and changed my location tons of times in astro.com the other night and was psyched to see that my singleton Jupiter could wind up in my 6th instead of my current 7th (it’s kinda boring there), and my Sun could go back to my 5th instead of lingering in the 6th.
I’m excited: I could really live a slightly different chart if I moved?! I mean, if I have to live with Jupiter in 7th, I will, but hey if I can go live with Jupiter in 6th then I will move! 😛
I don’t know much about asto-location… I know people who swear by it and people who think it’s BS. I would keep Jupiter 7th if I were you, btw. 🙂
Haha oh second thought, maybe I SHOULD keep it there, considering I have Mars-Uranus conjunction in Scorpio in my 7th too, maybe Jupiter levels that out a bit. 😉
I also hope you weren’t implying that Jupiter in 7th truly means luck in relationships. Because it rarely does in my chart. Actually, it doesn’t at all. It just means fat, pompous boyfriends who think they are philosophers but are nothing but mindless fools. Jupiter in 7th = astrology’s worst damn joke in the universe.
No assumptions or implications since I don’t know your chart 🙂 however, depending on your chart, there could be something you are not seeing. Or a way to use your natal energy that is not yet known to you
The desire for fire… So true. This retrograde periodis really helping me understand my own natal mercery rx in sagittarius conjunct my sun in cap. Plus the Venus trine mars across my 11th/7th house. To be friends or partners… Hmmm
Hmmm!
