Good Morning, Stargazers! I couldn’t sleep at all last night and am hoping this post isn’t riddled with typos that I’ll have to fix after my second cup of coffee. I’d love to blame the Scorpio Moon. Or Saturn going direct. Or the Full Moon eclipse on Wednesday. Take your pick of astro-happenings: any one of them could cause a sleepless night 😉
Here’s what I wrote last night, at around four in the morning, BCT, Big City Time: Saturn turning direct and I feel speechless. Meaning that I don’t feel anything and maybe this is a preview of Saturn squaring my Mercury or, really, what is there to say now? We have been WAITING.
Now, a Retrograde outer planet definitely has a different energy than a direct-motion outer planet and with Saturn the differences are palpable. Conversely, Pluto and Neptune, for example, are such slow-movers and spend such a good portion of time in retrograde, well, I just wonder if anyone really feels the difference and yes my Cancer stellium privileges *feelings* above all other ways of understanding the world.
Full disclosure, Saturn (friend of Capricorn) went Retrograde in square to my (not a friend of Capricorn) Cancer Sun. And I was happy for the release from that pressure. Now I’m just hoping he will skip degrees 13 through 28 of Libra, and skip squaring my Sun/Mercury/Mars. Ever known a Saturnian type to skip? Didn’t think so 😉
Astrologers tend to look at the larger themes, but hell I have too much Virgo for that on no sleep. I’m a detail person and I insist that you return to your natal chart. So find the house in your chart where you have Libra and you can begin to see the areas of your life that will be most affected by this Saturn transit. And then go around the chart, planet by planet, searching for where and when Saturn will aspect your junk 🙂
If you don’t know how to do this, I recommend learning it in person from someone. The visuals are so helpful. If you are local, you can learn it from me.
Note to self: back to sleep
