Redeeming The Ten Of Wands

It’s been therapeutic for me this evening — looking through Google’s Tarot deck šŸ™‚ for different versions of the Ten of Wands and finding beautiful beautiful cards.

I wasn’t going to blog again tonight but I got inspired by this one. Although I can’t remember the last time I pulled it for myself.

I want to TAKE BACK this card, and for some reason I find it easier than taking back the Tower or the Five of Pents which show us other troubling energies — chaos and loss. By “taking back” I meanā€¦ redeeming it somehow. Less devastating ways to read the darker cards.

So I posted a few pictures in one of the chat rooms and started to write about it — how I want to post 10,000 versions of this card. Can you imagine? A Tarot installation. Walk through those woods, walk through those Wands. Walk through trouble and turmoil and burden. Walk THROUGH it. And not recoil. Observe. Feel the Wands on your back, feel their weight, like Saturn.

Because what is it but a weight? That’s all it is. A weight. And unless you are in a death camp, God forbid, you can put down some of this weight. If you want. No one is marching you around. You can put the weight down. Put it down. Put. It. Down. Now. PUT IT DOWN.

(Did you? Did you try to? Did you try to remove even *one* wand? DO YOU WANT TO? Or do you like how it feels? That’s fine too. That’s valid. You don’t have to change a thing. You can bear it all.)

What cards are you seeing?Ā

Love, MP
