As I type this, the Sun and Moon are happy. It’s a trine. Sun in Gemini, Moon in Aquarius. Trines are the “easy” aspect. And in air? A sweet breeze.
Sun squares Mars in Virgo though. Venus in Gemini, retrograde, squares Mars too but is backing away. Still, I count it!
Gemini wants to play. Virgo wants to work. Who wins? Can you whistle while you work? Take groovy breaks in between the details. It’s a restless energy.
I went for a long walk with my quadruple Taurus roommate and I do mean LONG walk in the sun and I actually forgot about… EVERYTHING.
Mercury is in early Cancer, supported (which is an interesting word when talking about water) by Neptune and Chiron in Pisces. Bittersweet trine.
Jupiter is on his way out of Taurus about to be born in the sign of the Twins so we’ll have even more Gemini and the upcoming New Moon is in Gemini too so please know the Universe is SO NOT DONE with the Mutables yet! Not done with your Gem, Sag, Pisces, Virgo houses, especially Gem and Sag.
Whatever track you think you’re on? It’s going to get even more interesting.
And as far as Sun square Mars goes, it’s not too late to go for a walk, or work on a project, or climb a tree or host a telethon or… do something that requires some Marsy effort and service to others.
Gemini and Virgo are both Mercury ruled and both these signs tend to be busy so it’s good to move, good to wave your arms around, good to talk!
What are you feeling in your Gemini and Sagittarius houses?
PS Does the above Friday Kahlo painting remind you of anything? This isn’t a test question. Just curious. 🙂 She’s one of my favorite Cancers.

Sure thing! Here’s the link I found:

Frida was such an unusual woman of her time. 🙂
Cool thank u
Hi MP with the Leonine mane! 🙂
A friend gave me a Frida Kahlo magnet 20 years ago and I had no idea who she was at the time; thought she was a Queen, as he collected depictions of his favorite Queens, being a Queen himself. I wonder why he gave me that magnet? He always had a reason for these things. 🙂
Anyway, before I looked up what the painting meant to Frida, my first thought was Gemini Twins. Frida on the right is quite masculine, with her legs splayed out in an unladylike manner and Frida on the left looks smaller and weaker.
The storm clouds speak volumes and there’s something about how Frida on the left isn’t occupying or owning the bench like Frida on the right.
She is a remarkable woman I had no idea how HUGE this painting was till I saw a picture of her standing in front of it.
Love your blog and I think it’s fabulous that the number of your followers keep going UP and UP.
You’ve got the magic formula. 😉

pssst most of those are Twitter followers. They combine them. I’ll be back to comment more…
Love your thoughts here. Research! I didn’t know the size of the painting either. Thanks for sharing this 🙂
My free associations to that picture are: mother-daughter, symbiosis, the moon-pluto mother issues, and first house pluto…birth issues or early death (in the broader respect of the word, not just the physical ie/loss). Wow, I’m feeling very 8th house this morning! 😉
