The Moon Pluto Conjunction And Emotional Intensity

"lady gaga"

I’ve told this story before, but I know new people find the blog all the time so want to repeat it, why I named the blog what I named it: Moon Pluto Astrology: Astro Help for the Emotionally Intense.

When I had my first astrology reading with my teacher, he looked at my Moon Pluto conjunction in my 1st House and said: “Intense emotions.”

And the conversation that followed, well, it explained ME to me. For the first time. And yeah it made more sense than years of therapy.

I’d suffered from a lifetime of depression, anxiety too. And although not Borderline, I’d been helped a lot by techniques used for Borderline people. And “Emotional Intensity Disorder” was (back in the day) a “nicer” way to say Borderline.

Skills for emotional regulation.

I identified so much with this part of my chart, more than anything else. Planets in the 1st House will do that to us I think. Because they ARE us.

So even though the phrase is corny, I keep it up. It’s, in a sense, a tribute to who I used to be. I mean, I am still emotionally intense but now I’m more… awake. Someday I’ll tell the whole story!

Is there a part of your chart that you identify with more than anything else?

You know that feeling though, right? When your life finally makes a bit more sense than it used to. And that… it wasn’t  YOUR FAULT that you were so sensitive or so intense. You were, in the words of Lady Gaga who has a Moon Pluto conjunction in Scorpio, Born This Way.

An important point though: it is always necessary to make your chart grow. To grow into your chart. To not stay in the infantile version of your aspects. Moon and Pluto together can manipulate with the emotions (according to the textbooks) but it doesn’t have to be that way.

Can you identify the low side and the high side of an aspect in your chart?
