A topic that’s near and dear to my heart. Saying NO. Having a NO within you. Feeling guilty for saying no. Feeling bad for saying no. Feeling like a bad person for saying no. Feeling coerced into not having time to decide whether your no is a yes or your yes is a no.
This is about BOUNDARIES. Boundaries is a Pisces/Neptune/12th House topic. Saying NO is a boundary. Saying NO is a risk. Saying NO is Saturn. Limitation. Endings. It gives no leeway.
Saying YES is Pisces Season. Leeway. Taking in all. Giving up all. Porous, absorbing. Flow in, flow out. Neptune people are known for adapting to people, situations. Giving in. Giving up. Dissolving. Disappearing. Doing what X,Y, or Z wants instead of discovering what you feel, how you feel. (I am speaking about Neptune in broad terms here.) Or maybe you know, but you give in anyway.
This matter came to mind today because I did something I didn’t really want to do. And I had to trace it back why why why.
And the issue at stake wasn’t really the thing that was asked (although that’s part of it, that has its own suitcase to unpack). The issue was… we all have a right to say “I don’t know. I’ll think about it. I’ll get back to you.” And for that to be OKAY. And knowing the other person may get annoyed or impatient or angry. Because they want something. And you aren’t sure you want to give your permission.
So this is one lesson for Pisces Season. That you don’t have to go with the flow just because he or she requests or demands it. You have the right to decide. You have the right to say no to your co-worker, your friend, your boss! your partner, family member, the stranger on the street… and of course there are consequences to any/all of these.
This is also a NORTH NODE IN LIBRA issue.
The North Node is now in Libra and Libra is the sign of “peace at any price.”
So we have the chance to not only develop our NO (which is more Aries than Libra one could argue) but to do it more peacefully. Less anger and less defensiveness and more seeing the other side but not giving ourselves away in the process. That’s a tall fucking order!
And another important point: ACCEPT HUMAN LIMITATION. Not just others’ limitation. BUT YOUR OWN.
Honey, you don’t have to give everything away. You don’t have to give ANYTHING anyway… even if he/she wants it from you.
(I am so happy to be bringing you this lesson today. Thank you for hearing it.)
Can we still be lovable for saying no. Can we love ourselves even when we say no. And that we risk losing others for saying no. But it is worth it. It’s actually really liberating to discover your NO and to discover your YES. Genuinely. Do you feel this? Do you feel this in your heart? Or whatever chakra is being stimulated by these words? You can’t deal with ANYONE authentically without knowing your TRUE NO and your TRUE YES. And that, to me, at this moment anyway, is the ultimate meaning behind the Libra Aries nodal axis. Libra is the We and Aries is the ME and when we meet in the middle there, we can see the other side but also know who we are and what we want.
And because by saying “no” we stand to lose it all. Or GAIN it all. Time and time again.
