Hallelujah Holy Moon In Virgo For New Year’s Day

I can’t remember the last time I did anything for New Year’s Eve. It doesn’t interest me. Drunks? Crowds? Subways? No thanks πŸ™‚

And as I was telling someone on Facebook who suggested I go to Times Square, the only time I’ve ever liked Times Square was once upon a time strolling at round 4 or 5 a.m. after an all night date. That’s*my* Time Square.

If you keep up with my blog, then you know I’m getting over being sick (feeling fine as I type this) and lamenting gaining back the 10 lbs I lost in under a week, from being sick, and decided to watch a documentary about artist Marina Abramovic.

Sadly, oh Netflix, the disc is damaged so I only got about 3 minutes in but right before it broke down, the artist was talking about it taking 40 years to get some respectΒ (my word not hers) for her art. 40 years. And here I go, free associating: the Israelites travelled 40 years in the desert to the Promised Land. 40 years is a DLT (damn long time) and you will want to give up, and you may. Marina didn’t give up and neither should you .Sometimes it. Is. Just. So. Easy. To. Say. That. To give encouragement.

Question: do you have something that you don’t want to give up on? Do I? I’m not so sure. I used to. Now, I don’t know. That’s what 2013 is for. For the answer.

The Moon enters Virgo mid-day on New Year’s day and Virgo is happy putting order to… something. Not saying you have to clean the house (I won’t be) but use clean as a metaphor. House as metaphor. Order as… order. Straighten out and straighten up. What must be arranged, classified, ranked… as you enter the New Year? New start new start new start. The past is dead and GONE. LEAVE IT BE. Whether it’s a person or a belief or the way you used to do that thing. It is done. It is gone. Hallelujah!

Otherwise, star wise: the Moon (your moods) will oppose (annoy) Neptune (your fantasy life) and trine (bubble bath) Mercury (say what?) who has just entered no-tears Capricorn. This is not a bad day. These are not bad aspects although it is VIRGO. It is earthy. It is real. You will be working on something or someone πŸ˜‰ and my advice (Virgo is the advice giver!) is to…….

No. No advice this time. No advice for our last moments together in this 2012, no. I’m going to shhh quiet now and give you this space to yourself. You fill in the blank. You tell me.

See you on the other side xo
