Postcard From Mars (Part 1) 5

There is something you are supposed to be and you’re not there yet and you’re 41 or 45 or 52 or 70 or notdeadyet and there is still time. Maybe not for everything, but… for so much.

And you have to fight like hell to get there, fight yourself, and/or someone else but if you get the feeling that there is something you are supposed to be then you must fight.

Must it be? It must be.

This seed of anger and frustration can grow inside you magnificently says my Mars in Cancer. Did you ever scream at God? Try it sometime :)

I’m thinking about Mars tonight. I’m having my Mars Return.

And you? How’s your Mars?

Fight. Indeed you must. Even if you’re not sure what you are fighting for, exactly. But inside of you IT knows and IT won’t stop trying to get your attention. And then one day it will all have been worth it. And God never minded the screaming that attended the confusion.

I’ve taken my poor little retro Mars out of the closet and sent him to karate lessons recently. We feel so good! Interestingly, it took my son’s karate-kicking Aries Mars to get mine going. Maybe your Mars needs a pal?

    “And you? How’s your Mars?”

..when I’m fighting for something, and I’m relaxed about it, not stressed, however many “buttons” I have pushed in others, I’m trying to be graceful, not trying to yell, but then most of my speaking voice seems “loud”.. I’m forceful without meaning to be, accused of being aggressive when it is not my intention.

I’m under the impression, a Mars in Cancer, in the first, is sneakier and more defensive than a Mars in Scorpio, but I admire those people with the Mars in Scorpio.

I study Mars in Scorpio individuals because they seem very together..they don’t seem to hide aggressiveness, but seemingly have a self-control, that I wish I had. I do however know I have a will, I don’t know if this is Mars, or Black Moon Lilith, or if this is Moon conjunct Pluto… or the combination, and its been with me for my entire life. Obviously the will can be a force to contend with, it’s like you kicking your own arse… not anyone else.. although when I was little, it seems everyone was trying to beat me up, trying to get me to submit to their will, and their force.. even though I was exponentially smaller by size. It made me laugh, in spite of the pain that so much force had to be used on me.. and never would submit to saying someone was “right” when I knew they were wrong, or submit to the threat that they would beat me up..

I think my husband points out the obvious when he said joke and said “Use your negotiation skills..” and I said, “What?!”.. “yeah”, he joked “those non-existent skills of compromise you seem to own..” :P

    pphhhhhhahhhhtttthhh! ;)

He should talk, mr, Mars conjunct Sun and Mercury… (Mars/Mercury/Algol/North Node) person… compromise? does HE compromise? I suppose he does, if he’s not manipulating the hell out of everything! Two peas in a pod from another angle.. same energies, different uses and purposes.
